Hitched By Elvis - A Vegas Wedding

In my 30s, I used to joke that if I ever got married, it would be by Elvis.

Who knew that at 40, I’d meet the man I would marry—and seven years later, Elvis would actually be walking me down the aisle?

So, we ran away to Las Vegas, just the two of us, promising a big celebration with family and friends when we returned.

The first task? Finding the perfect Elvis and the perfect chapel. Brendan Paul at Graceland Wedding Chapel was the one.

On the big day, our limo driver picked us up from our hotel and whisked us away to the chapel—I felt like a queen.

The photographer at Graceland Chapel was fantastic, putting us completely at ease before Elvis entered the building.

This was it. Our moment. It was really happening.

With our ceremony streamed live, our loved ones could still be part of our big day, even from miles away.

It was absolutely perfect.

My dress had to be vintage, and the only shoes to match were original white Salt-Water Sandals—ideal for comfort and classic style, perfect for dancing down the aisle and strolling through our honeymoon in California.

To top it all off, we made it a true Elvis affair, catching an incredible tribute show that evening.

When the honeymoon ended, the celebrations continued with a huge party at Oceanside Hotel in Newquay, Cornwall, surrounded by our loved ones.

That night, my heart felt like it could burst from all the love in the room.

I wore a vintage barkcloth kaftan from California with original tan Salt-Water Sandals and laughed and danced the night away, captured beautifully by my dear friend and talented photographer, Ed Blomfield.

I was the happiest girl in the world—I had been hitched by Elvis to my soulmate, my best friend, my hunka hunka burning love!
